Story Work coaching is a personal development and reflective practice, not a regulated healthcare service. Coaching will involve exploring personal experiences, emotions, and narratives, and is intended for growth, insight, and self-awareness, not diagnosis or treatment.
Not Therapy or Medical Care
Services provided are not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or legal counsel.
You acknowledge that:
- Simply Restored, Jennifer Wasyliw, is not acting as a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional
- Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions
If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please seek support from a licensed professional.
Client Responsibility
You are fully responsible for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being, your decisions, actions, and results from coaching. Coaching is a collaborative process, but outcomes depend on your engagement and personal circumstances. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from coaching services.
Emotional Risk
Story-Work will involve revisiting personal and emotional experiences. You acknowledge that:
- This process may bring up strong emotions
- You participate voluntarily and can pause or stop at any time
Confidentiality
All session are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including:
- Risk of harm to yourself or others
- Suspected abuse or neglect to a minor or vulnerable person
- Court orders or legal requirements
Please note: coaching is not legally privileged in the same way as therapy or legal services.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute secuirty.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
